Material: The material of heat recovery wheel is usually aluminum foil, while the full heat recovery wheel uses aluminum foil material with hygroscopic surface or other heat storage and hygroscopic materials.
Working principle: The heat recovery wheel realizes heat exchange between fresh air and exhaust air by rotating the heat storage core. Fresh air and exhaust air flow through the wheel alternately in opposite directions. The wheel absorbs heat and moisture on the high temperature and high humidity side and releases these energies on the low temperature and low humidity side to complete the full heat exchange.
Efficiency: The efficiency of the full heat recovery wheel is usually around 75%, the sensible heat efficiency is 80%, and the latent heat efficiency is 76%.
Resistance loss: The resistance loss of the wheel itself is about 300pa.
Applicable scenarios: Rotary heat recovery is mainly suitable for air conditioning systems with a temperature difference between fresh air and exhaust air ≥8℃, especially for high energy consumption scenarios such as large public buildings (such as shopping malls, hospitals), industrial plants and data centers.
Maintenance and Care: Clean the surface of the wheel regularly to prevent dust accumulation and ensure its efficient operation. In addition, keep the wheel in an upright position. Wheels with a diameter less than or equal to 1500mm can be placed horizontally, but be careful to avoid vibration and collision.
