The structural features of duct fans mainly include the following aspects:

Core components: The core component of duct fans is the fan, which usually adopts centrifugal multi-blade fans or cross-flow fans. The impeller diameter is generally not more than 150mm, and the static pressure is maintained below 100Pa. In order to ensure efficient operation and fire resistance, most models currently choose metal impellers, such as galvanized steel plates or aluminum plates.

Motor: The fan motor usually uses a capacitor motor, and its speed regulation function can be achieved by changing the input voltage. With the increase in energy-saving needs, DC brushless motors have gradually become the mainstream in recent years. This type of motor has significant advantages such as small size, light weight, low temperature rise and high energy efficiency.

Other components: Other key components of duct fans include coils, air filters and regulators. Coils are generally made of copper tubes with corrugated or windowed aluminum sheets. The outer diameter of the copper tube is 10mm, the wall thickness is 0.5mm, and the thickness of the aluminum sheet is 0.15~0.2mm. The air filter is made of coarse-pored foam plastic, fiber fabric or nylon braid. The adjustment device is usually equipped with a three-speed variable speed switch or an automatic room temperature adjustment device to adapt to different air volume requirements.

‌Performance characteristics‌: The duct fan has the characteristics of easy installation, light weight and low noise. It is compact and practical, suitable for air supply, exhaust, return air and air purification. The ultra-high wind pressure can connect to dozens of meters of pipelines. One fan can control centralized ventilation in multiple areas. It is widely used in buildings, indoor ventilation or pipeline pressurization.
