The design concept of rotary heat exchanger mainly includes the following aspects:
High-efficiency energy recovery: The main design concept of rotary heat exchanger is to preheat (or precool) the air intake of air conditioner by recovering the energy contained in the exhaust air of air conditioner, so as to achieve energy saving. This equipment can recover both sensible heat and latent heat, significantly reducing the energy consumption of air conditioning system.
Structural design and working principle: The core component of rotary heat exchanger is a honeycomb rotor that rotates continuously at a speed of 10-12 rpm. The rotor is made of aluminum foil or special composite fiber, and the surface is covered with heat storage and moisture absorption materials. Fresh air and exhaust air pass through the two semicircles of the rotor in reverse direction to achieve heat and humidity exchange transfer.
Sensible and latent heat recovery: Rotary heat exchanger works in two ways: sensible heat recovery and latent heat recovery. Sensible heat recovery is mainly achieved through the heat storage characteristics of the core material, while latent heat recovery uses the moisture absorption properties of the moisture absorption material. In winter, the heat and humidity of the exhaust air are absorbed by the rotor and then released to the fresh air, which increases the temperature and humidity of the fresh air; in summer, the coldness of the fresh air is absorbed by the rotor and released to the exhaust air to achieve a pre-cooling effect.
Environmental protection and energy saving: The rotary heat exchanger can significantly reduce the energy consumption of the air conditioning system and improve the energy utilization efficiency. Its heat recovery efficiency can reach 70%~90%. On the premise of ensuring sufficient fresh air replacement in the room, it reduces the cooling load and power consumption in the operation of the air conditioner, which meets the requirements of modern energy conservation and environmental protection.
Application scenario: Due to the compact structure, small footprint and high heat recovery efficiency of the rotary heat exchanger, it is suitable for air conditioning systems with large air volume, such as large shopping malls, office buildings, airports, railway stations and industrial plants. These places have a large air processing volume. The use of rotary heat exchangers can effectively reduce operating costs and improve overall energy efficiency.
